Reid Health partners with Versiti Blood Center of Dayton to host monthly blood drives in Richmond and Connersville. Mobile drives like these provide nearly 80% of the blood supply, and about 350 donors are needed each day to ensure area hospitals have enough blood for patients.
Every two seconds, someone needs blood. The donation itself takes about 10 minutes, with the full process lasting around one hour from check-in to completion. One pint of donated blood can save up to three lives.
Join us for Movie & Popcorn Day for Donors at the Reid Connersville Blood Drive on June 24 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Donors will receive a $10 Showtime Cinema movie ticket, a coupon from Larkingreene Ford, and can enjoy popcorn and candy while making a lifesaving impact.
