A cancer diagnosis impacts more than physical health. It can bring feelings of isolation,
uncertainty, and emotional exhaustion. The Reid Health Cancer Support Group has created  a welcoming space for patients, loved ones, and caregivers where they can find support and connect with others who share similar experiences.

Led by Oncology Social Workers, this group is designed to help reduce three of the most significant stressors associated with cancer:

  • Loneliness and isolation
  • Feelings of loss or losing control
  • Hopelessness

Whether you are newly diagnosed, undergoing treatment, navigating survivorship, or supporting a loved one, you are welcome here.

Group topics might include:

  • Communication and coping skills
  • Managing pain and treatment side effects
  • Emotional support and encouragement
  • Access to community resources
  • Practical tools for everyday life during and after cancer treatment

While facilitated by licensed therapists, this is not a therapy group. It is a supportive pathway for connection with peers who truly understand the cancer journey.
