Everything you need to know about first two sets of openings at the new Reid Health Connersville

The new Reid Health Connersville campus is opening to patients in three phases, with the first two of those coming next week.
At 7 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, emergency care will transition from the Virginia Avenue building to the new facility on Park Road. No emergency patients will be seen at the Virginia Avenue building after 7 a.m.
The next day – on Thursday, April 9 – outpatient radiology, outpatient lab, Infusion Therapy, and respiratory function testing will begin seeing patients at the new building on Park Road.
Here’s everything you need to know before your first visit to the new facility.
Where do I park?
The main drive is located at the new traffic signal along Park Road.
When facing the building from the parking lot, there are two entrances to the facility itself. The main one is in the middle of the building. This entrance should be used when accessing the primary and specialty care offices (which will open Monday, April 13) as well as outpatient lab, radiology, and Infusion Therapy.
The other entrance is located on the north end of the building for the Emergency Department and respiratory function testing.
Public parking spaces are located in front of both entrances as well as along the south side of the building.
Where do I go to check in?
Anyone visiting the Emergency Department should come through the doors on the north end of the building and check in at the registration desk just inside that entrance.
Patients coming in for outpatient services can always use the MyReid mobile app to complete the check-in process ahead of their appointment. Otherwise, there are two options onsite:
- Digital kiosks – A handful of digital kiosks are available in the lobby just inside the main entrance. Reid Health staff will be on hand to help those who want to check in this way.
- Registration desks – There’s a registration desk near the waiting area for radiology/lab. Primary care and specialty care also will have registration desks for their services when they open on April 13.
Anyone who checks in using the MyReid app or a digital kiosk should still be sure to tell the staff at the proper registration desk they’ve arrived for their appointment.
Where do I go for lab and radiology?
Radiology and the laboratory share the same registration desk and waiting area, which are on the first floor. When you come in the main entrance, turn left. The registration desk is just a short way down that corridor, across from the history wall.
Where is Infusion Therapy?
Infusion Therapy can be found on the second floor. Once you’re upstairs, Infusion Therapy is across from the main stairway or to your left when you get off the elevators.
How can I contact someone if I have a question before my appointment?
The Message Center in the MyReid app and Patient Portal can be used to reach out with any questions you might have, or you can call the appropriate office.
