Reid Health adds to Administration team with new Chief Quality Officer
A Richmond native who has spent her career in various roles at Reid Health is taking on a new one – the health system’s Vice President/Chief Quality Officer.
Stacia Robertson began at Reid in 2013 as a nurse in the Critical Care Unit. She’s since served in a variety of leadership roles, most recently as the Senior Director of Quality, Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI), and Inpatient Physician Services.
The Chief Quality Officer is a new position in Reid’s Administration team. Ben Wells, Reid Health President/CEO, said investing in this role is a demonstration of Reid’s continued commitment to providing quality services to its patients.
“Our community relies on Reid Health,” Wells said. “It’s important we provide the very best care possible to those who trust us with their health.
“In this new role, Stacia will help us ensure we remain focused on providing the quality care our community deserves. She brings a great deal of experience to this position, and I’m confident she will continue to do great things.”
As the Chief Quality Officer, Robertson will oversee departments including Inpatient Physician Services, CDI, Quality, Infection Control, Patient Safety, and Patient Resource Services.
“It means a lot to me to move into this role,” Robertson said. “It’s more than a title. All my family lives locally and obtains care at Reid Health. I want to ensure my family and all those in the community get the best care possible.

Robertson spent most of her school years in Centerville-Abington Community Schools before graduating from Richmond High School. She earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Indiana University East and then joined Reid.
“I completed nursing clinicals in various health systems. None of them compared to Reid. Reid felt like home from day one,” she said.
“And it’s the people who keep me here, plain and simple. The culture is great. It’s friends and family caring for friends and family.”
Robertson lives in Richmond with her husband and their two children.
