Director of Financial Services takes over as Reid Health’s new CFO

A longtime Richmond resident has been named the new Chief Financial Officer for Reid Health.

Gregory Turner will officially assume the role March 1, filling a position that has been open since Ben Wells was appointed President/CEO of Reid in September 2025.

Originally from Boston, Massachusetts, Turner came to Indiana in 1987 and moved to Richmond five years later.

He joined Reid in 2013, serving as Reimbursement Analyst and then Manager of Budget and Reimbursement before moving into his current role as Director of Financial Services.

“Becoming the CFO of Reid Health represents the opportunity to guide a mission‑driven health system through financial strength, operational excellence, and strategic growth,” Turner said.

“It means serving as a steward of the organization’s resources, a partner to clinical and operational leaders, and a champion for the long-term sustainability of high‑quality care for the communities we serve.”

Turner has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and a master’s in healthcare management from Western Governors University in Millcreek, Utah.

As Vice President/CFO of Reid, Turner will oversee departments including Revenue Cycle Management, RHPA Practice Finance, Material & Linen Services, Finance/Accounting, Financial Decision Support, Managed Care/Payor Contracting, Joint Ventures, and Dasco/Reid.
