Medical Monday celebrates 15th anniversary
Nov. 1, 2024 -- For more than a decade, Medical Monday has been a resource for the community to provide information on health issues, community programs, and preventive screenings.
November is Medical Monday's 15th anniversary. Sharrie Harlin, Manager of Community Engagement for Reid Health, started the event when she worked for the Minority Health Coalition and maintained it after joining Reid. Thriving Thursday was added in Connersville and both events have loyal followings, averaging 40 to 50 guests each month.
Jason Troutwine,
Reid Health Vice President/Reid Foundation President, will be the speaker for
Medical Monday in November. He'll talk about what's new at Reid including
updates about the Building UP project in Connersville, the construction of a new
state-of-the-art facility to meet the community's diverse health needs.
Also, during
Medical Monday, Reid Community Health will be on-site with health resources.
Thriving
Thursday is celebrating its fifth anniversary in Connersville. Craig Towns,
Director of Business Partnerships for Reid Health, will be the speaker and will
provide updates at Reid.
