GEMS: Going the Extra Mile
GEM Awards are for clinical
and non-clinical staff who "Go the Extra Mile" for patients. GEMs are awarded
by patients or their family members as a way to say "thank you" to any Reid
staff member or volunteer who has made the care experience more enjoyable.
DAISY Award: Thank an Extraordinary Nurse
Every day our nursing staff goes above and beyond to provide the highest quality of care. In partnership with The DAISY Foundation, Reid Health recognizes Reid RNs and LPNs with the DAISY Award for the extraordinary, skillful, and compassionate care they provide. Patients, members of family, the community, or Reid team can nominate a nurse for a DAISY Award.
