4. Alan Patrick
Familiar landscapes of Western Wayne County are the subjects of two paintings by artist Alan Patrick. Patrick, who was born at Reid and grew up in nearby Centerville, chose landmarks from his "old stomping grounds" and completed the two paintings - the largest he has ever created - exclusively for the Reid art program. The first is of a barn on U.S. 40 west of Centerville; the second overlooks the village of Abington.
Proceed around the corner, heading east toward the Grand Staircase. The art glass may be viewed overlooking the railing. The sculpture is next to the railing.
