Recipe: Banana-Cocoa Smoothie
Servings: 1
• 1 medium banana
• ½ cup silken tofu
• ½ cup soymilk (or low-fat
cow's milk)
• 2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa
powder
• 1 tbsp honey
1. Slice banana and freeze until firm.
2. Blend tofu, milk, cocoa and honey in a blender until smooth.
3. With the blender still running, add the banana slices through
the hole in the lid and continue to puree until smooth.
Tip: Pair this with a salad and lite vinaigrette to incorporate
vegetables and make a well-balanced meal.
