Public Forum
On Tuesday,
Nov. 23, Reid Health will host a public forum at our main campus in Richmond to
give members of the community an opportunity to provide feedback about our
performance over the past year and other topics.
The forum will
begin at 3 p.m. in the Edelman Boardroom in the administrative offices of Reid
Health Hospital, 1100 Reid Parkway in Richmond. It also will be available
online via Zoom at this link.
During the
event, members of the public will be able to comment on Reid Health's
performance in the past year, discuss pricing of health services provided by
Reid, and talk about the contributions Reid has made to our communities,
including uncompensated care, charitable contributions, and other charitable
assistance programs.
Among the
financial topics of discussion will be information about Reid's income
statement for 2020, which is available below, as well as Reid's pricing of
health services in comparison to the reimbursement amounts for those services
under Medicare, the rationale for any pricing of health services that is higher
than Medicare reimbursements, and any increase in Reid's pricing of health
services that occurred in 2020.
