Reid Health Winchester Primary & Specialty Care, Reid Allergy named RHPA Practices of the Year
April 22, 2024 -- Reid Health
Physicians Associates (RHPA) honored its Practices of the Year during a
celebration dinner held April 19 at Forest Hills Country Club in Richmond.
Reid Health Primary
& Specialty Care - Winchester and Reid Allergy were announced as the
winners in the primary care and specialty care categories.
Now in its
third year, the RHPA's Practices of the Year honors are based on how well
practices do in three key areas: quality, patient experience, and financial
performance. The category for quality is only considered for primary care
because data isn't available for all specialty care practices in this area.
Billie Kester,
Vice President/Ambulatory Care and Service Lines, said earning Practice of the Year
takes a true team effort.
"Without
everyone working together to achieve top performance in all of the key areas,
this award wouldn't be attainable," Kester said. "Winchester Primary Care and
Reid Allergy demonstrate a collaborative approach to the care they provide in
support of their patients and to each other."
Rohit Bawa, MD,
Chair of the RHPA Network Operations Council, said RHPA was thrilled to
announce the recipients and honor the exceptional achievements of providers and
staff, recognizing their significant contributions to the success of its
winning practices.
"The awards
dinner is a testament to their unwavering dedication and hard work. It's a
moment to express our gratitude and admiration for their relentless commitment
to advancing patient care," Dr. Bawa said.
"We believe it's crucial to acknowledge and celebrate excellence within our team. This recognition underscores our ongoing appreciation for the remarkable efforts of each team member." -- Rohit Bawa, MD, Chair of the RHPA Network Operations Council

Practice Supervisor Angel Ralston for her management and the team for their

achieve this reward," Dr. Wegg said. "Every member of the team has responded
and given their best, and I personally am extremely proud of them."

as a practice since 2016," Dr. Casselman said. "We have a tremendous,
hard-working staff who make it possible to provide unparalleled care to our
patients. Receiving this honor gives me a sense of renewed energy, and I'm
hopeful for continued growth as a practice to further serve our community."

"By working in unison, Dr. Casselman and his team at Reid Allergy achieve
optimal outcomes for their patients."

RHPA has grown to include more than 50 primary and specialty care practices
across Reid's eight-county service area with some 265 providers and more than 800
total employees.
"RHPA continues
to flourish, delivering high-quality care to all our patients in alignment with
Reid Health's overarching mission: To lead our communities to well-being, one
