Reid’s August Ambassador is heart of PACE
Aug. 5, 2024 -- When the Reid Health PACE team needs a solution, they turn to Jevon Frame.
Reid Health's
Ambassador for the month of August goes above and beyond to meet the needs of
PACE participants and co-workers alike. She naturally helps others to feel valued
and respected while delivering service with a smile.
"Jevon is the
heart of PACE," one co-worker said. "On a daily basis, she's building relationships
with our participants, and she's their go-to. She also is an amazing resource
for caregivers. She genuinely cares about each participant and their well-being."
"She's a great
role model to other co-workers, always has a positive attitude, and sees the
best in all situations that arise. She has a true passion to serve this
community, and it's seen daily in the work she does," said a PACE team member.
Colleagues said
Frame is an exemplary Reid Ambassador. She's a team player who listens and talks
through concerns, exceeding their expectations. And she's a good friend.
"She goes out of
her way to be sure the participants' needs are met, from physical, mental,
spiritual, and social aspects. She is generous with her time even when she has
very little to give," a co-worker said.
Frame enjoys
the collaborative spirit the PACE interdisciplinary care team shares.
"This teamwork
concept is truly embraced by all here and sets us apart from other providers,"
Frame said. "We respect our differences and collaborate on all decisions
regarding the service needs impacting our participants' lives and create their
plan of care together.
"I love my job.
I truly care about others and their needs. Reid has provided the way to better
reach those most at risk in our community, and I'm honored to be one of many at
PACE that gets to help them."
Frame first
worked at Reid as a discharge planner from 1999-2000. She pursued a career in
long-term geriatric care with a focus on dementia before returning to Reid PACE
in 2020.
"There's no
other place I would rather work. Throughout my career, Reid Health has always
set the standard and expectation for excellence," Frame said.
"What a
privilege it is to spend each workday with others who share this same
philosophy. We truly care about each other and those we serve at PACE, and we
all get to share in our program's success daily. I'm blessed to be part of the
Reid Health family."
The youngest of
nine children, Frame is a Hagerstown native and a Nettle Creek Schools
graduate. She currently resides in Cambridge City.
Frame earned a
bachelor's degree from Indiana University East and a Master of Social Work from
IUPUI. She taught undergraduate courses in social work at IU East as an adjunct
instructor.
She enjoys the
outdoors and hiking.
"I'm a terrible
typist and love candy," Frame added.
She has two children -- Andy Frame and Hollie Towns -- and she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren as they participate in a variety of sports and activities.
