Share Your Voice: Reid’s Community Health Survey is open
March 4, 2025 -- Reid Health invites community members to help shape future healthcare programs and services by participating in the Community Health Survey, open now through Wednesday, April 30.
Residents in
eight counties across East Central Indiana and West Central Ohio can share
their thoughts on key health issues and identify the most pressing needs by participating
in the online survey.
Participants
must be aged 18 and over and live in Fayette, Franklin, Henry, Randolph, Union, and
Wayne counties in Indiana and Preble and Darke counties in Ohio.
"Reid is committed
to building healthier communities, but real change starts with you," said Jess
Przybysz, Director of Reid Health Community Benefit & Engagement.
"This is an
opportunity to give your feedback and help guide the future of healthcare in
your community. We encourage you to take the survey and ask others to share
their input too."
Every three
years, Reid conducts a community survey to determine the primary health concerns
in the region. The feedback gathered from surveys, focus groups, and interviews
helps develop strategies for improving community health outcomes developed in
an implementation plan, the Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA).
Insights from
past surveys have led to impactful initiatives including an expanded Community
Engagement Grant Program that addresses critical health issues such as mental
health, substance misuse, physical activity and nutrition, and maternal,
infant, and children's health.

a vital tool in understanding our community's health challenges," said
Jason Troutwine, Reid Health Vice President/Reid Foundation President.
"By
sharing your suggestions and challenges, you help shape healthcare programs
that truly make an impact."
The survey is
available in English and Spanish to residents in Reid's service area. Responses
are anonymous and confidential.
