When staff have questions, they turn to Reid’s July Ambassador
Jeremy Lee, Clinical Informatics
July 1, 2024 -- As a clinical analyst at Reid Health, Jeremy Lee gets asked a lot of questions. When providers and staff find an obstacle in their path, they often turn to him for help.
"Jeremy has a wealth of knowledge and is always available when you reach out to him," one co-worker said. "He's very reliable and easy to communicate with regarding any issues that come up within our practice. He always seems to go above and beyond to help. We're extremely lucky to have him as part of Reid."
Lee's ability
to make his colleagues' day a brighter one earned him the honor of being Reid
Health's Ambassador for the month of July, an award at least one co-worker
couldn't believe he hadn't already won at some point in his career.
"Jeremy is always willing to help in a moment's notice
when anyone reaches out to him," the person said. "If he doesn't know the
answer, he gets you the answer. In the eight years I've worked with Jeremy,
he's never failed to help me or provide what I need to be successful in my
role."
"When we have questions or a specific issue that Jeremy
is able to fix, he does it. There's no wait for hours or days," another person
said. "When I have a question, I call Jeremy and he has an answer. It's nice to
have someone to count on."
Lee began his
time at Reid as an intern with Reid Internal Medicine. Since then, he's served
in a variety of roles, including medical assistant, clinical compliance
coordinator, and operations manager before moving into his current position
four years ago.
"I believe Reid Health has cultivated a strong, positive
culture that prioritizes patient care, teamwork, and professional growth," Lee
said. "The organization emphasizes compassion, respect, and integrity, creating
a supportive and inclusive environment for both patients and employees. Working
here, I've found there's a genuine commitment to high-quality care and
continuous improvement.
"Every day is something different. I'm motivated knowing
that whatever I do -- whatever I'm asked about -- my advice, my assistance, my
work make a difference in the lives of our staff, providers, and patients."

Lee lives in
Richmond with his partner -- fellow Reid employee Seth Houser -- and their four
dogs and two cats. He has a daughter and a grandson.
When he's not
working, Lee enjoys attending National Tractor Pullers Association events in
the area. He's also a musician, playing the piano and organ.
"He's so kind and caring with everyone and everything
going on," a co-worker said. "Jeremy is a great example of what the Reid
Ambassador stands for."
