Dr Chong and I have been together a few years, almost all good. This visit, a followup after 2 days and 2 procedures in Reid hospital Richmond - the data and directions provided by medical folks at Reid during procedures and stay and the position/direction of Dr Chong, contained some conflicting information/direction, Dr Chong and I did not communicate well in this area, my 'feeling' is he did not address my questions, but, did give me direct instructions, not to be questioned. All I desired was to understand the difference between doctors from the same practice. Please use caution when reading, understanding, and using this feedback. xxx

We were sent to Reid Hospital in transfer from Wayne Hospital. Dr. Chong made arrangements with Reid's doctors to resume my care as soon as we arrived. Myself and my wife were treated with the utmost respect and dignity during this unexpected scary situation. I may of understood this if the building / office were full of patients, but there were only 2 cars plus mine in the parking lot. I did ask the nurse on phone if there was a closer hospital to go get this test done , besides driving to Richman, Indiana. This is about a 2- 21/2 hr for me. She said those hospitals aren't Reid associated. My question is, do I really need the test if I can't go to a hospital closer where I live.

We have to go back and get a scan, which used to be done in office, right there, so now we have to wait on appt. from Reid and go back again, and take another day, plus pay for another office call, seems ridiculous when it used to be done right there same day.
