Dr Hunter was very professional , courteous and caring. He presented everything very clearly and gave me sufficient time to answer all my questions.

Everyone from the lady that was at the front desk, the lady that weighed me (not my favorite part) , the nurse that took my blood pressure, and the fellow that took me to x/ray, the lady that did the x-ray and my Doctor Hunter all so kind !
I have a lot of respect for Dr. Lee and he listens and always cares with concern. Dr. Lee's assistance and the ones training need to learn better bed side matters and how to learn to care for patients better. Thank you

I showed up @ 2:40 pm for a 3 pm appointment, I didn't get called back until 3:19 pm. Not sure what the problem was, but of course, it was a day I had someone waiting for me.
Wait time was a little longer than other visits but sometimes that happens
The 3 meds (antibacterials) that need to be done 5 days before the surgery was not stressed enough. I can also blame myself. didn't review the paperwork thoroughly. The rx wasn't called in so that was also a delay. I will get 4 doses in and will do extra. Sure don't want an infection.

I respect James Hunter very much. He's been my orthopedic PA for quite a few years. He always has a pleasant demeanor,& answers any questions I have. A special quality he has is explaining things thoroughly so you understand. I trust him completely with my care.

I was disappointed in that I have issues I thought Reid Orthopedic n Spine would address but no, I was told to go back to my primary Dr. I just saw her Thursday last week n didn't bring them up because of my appt w Reid. I couldn't even make an appointment w Spine Dr w/o primary recommendation. I think that's ridiculous. My hip replacement is fine, but I left feeling like they didn't want to see me again.

Dr Lee, Dr Hunter, Dr Vien are my guardian angels. Since my 3 surgeries, back, shoulder, knee, I feel great...so happy with the success of each. And YES! I recommend these doctors to every one. In my opinion they are the best!!!

Mr. Jim Hunter was very knowledgeable and patient to answer all my numerous first time questions about Hip Replacement. He explained things well and assured me I could ask any question at any time. Also the Tech that was in the room with us was very friendly and pulled up additional information on Lidocaine patches to purchase over the counter. She assured me I could ask questions and offered an option to use My Chart- which I do use. Thank you both.
Jim Hunter appears to have worked on his people skills and even though I might have been prepared for his nonchalant care I received last time I saw him I left this encounter impressed. He seemed really engaged and made me feel more at ease. Thanks to everyone at Reid who are taking care of all of Richmond.
