Every three
years, Reid Health Community Benefit staff conduct a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA) to determine the primary concerns in
the region and develop a plan for how to best use Reid's programs and
activities to improve local residents' health.
Community input is collected through interviews, focus groups in all eight counties Reid serves, and a survey provided in English and Spanish. That feedback is then added to statistical data before a group of community members helps to narrow a list of the top health needs.
The Community Benefit Grant Program supports regional non-profit organizations that are working to address those health needs selected through the CHNA process. Click below to read more about recent grant cycles and the projects funded through the grant program.
