Whether you’re experiencing urinary symptoms, pelvic pain, or prostate concerns, our specialists offer advanced diagnostics and minimally invasive treatments to help you feel your best.

Common urologic conditions

Most people experience a urologic issue at some point in life. Many are highly treatable with medication, lifestyle changes, or simple procedures.

  • Urinary tract infections (UTIs): Caused by bacteria in the urinary system, leading to pain or frequent urination; treated with antibiotics and hydration
  • Incontinence: Leakage of urine due to weak pelvic muscles or overactive bladder; treatments include pelvic therapy, medications, or surgical options
  • Erectile dysfunction (ED): Difficulty achieving or maintaining an erection; often managed with oral medications, injections, or advanced therapies like UroLift®
  • Prostate disorders: Enlargement (BPH) or inflammation can cause frequent or difficult urination. Minimally invasive procedures can help restore normal flow.
  • Kidney stones: Hard mineral deposits that can cause severe pain; treatment options include medication, lithotripsy, or laser removal
  • Pediatric bed-wetting: Common in children and often improves with time, lifestyle changes, or behavioral strategies

Advanced and complex urologic care

We also provide specialized treatment for complex or chronic urologic conditions that could require surgery or ongoing management.

  • Urologic cancers: Expert care for prostate, kidney, bladder, and testicular cancers with advanced imaging and surgical options
  • Pelvic organ prolapse: Common in women after childbirth or menopause; treated with pelvic therapy, pessary devices, or reconstructive surgery
  • Urethral or ureteral disorders: Blockages or scarring treated with minimally invasive reconstruction
  • Neurogenic bladder: Nerve-related bladder dysfunction managed with medication, implants, or catheterization programs
  • Reconstructive urology: Surgical repair for trauma or congenital abnormalities of the urinary tract

Understanding kidney stones

Kidney stones are hard deposits that form in the kidneys and can cause severe pain, urinary problems, and other complications. Chronic or recurring kidney stones might indicate an underlying issue that requires specialized care.

Our urologists evaluate each patient to determine the cause and provide a personalized plan to relieve discomfort and prevent future stones. Early treatment helps protect kidney function and improve overall health.

How kidney stones are treated

Treatment depends on the size, type, and location of the stone. Options include:

  • Medications: To help pass small stones or manage pain
  • Non-invasive procedures: Such as shock wave lithotripsy to break stones into smaller pieces
  • Surgical removal: For larger or stubborn stones, minimally invasive techniques can remove them safely.
  • Preventive care: Dietary changes, hydration plans, and ongoing monitoring to reduce recurrence

Prostate screenings are an important part of men’s healthcare

Prostate screenings can detect prostate cancer earlier, when it's easiest to treat. Screenings can also identify other prostate concerns, such as enlargement or inflammation, that might affect urinary or sexual health.

If you’re age 50 or older — or have a family history of prostate cancer — talk to your doctor about when to begin screening.
