Meet Emmie: Your AI assistant in MyChart

Emmie is a new AI-powered assistant available in MyChart. It’s designed to help you find information, understand your health record, and take next steps—faster and more easily. Reid Health is one of only two Epic organizations piloting this tool for patients.

Emmie works within MyChart and uses information already in your medical record to provide helpful, personalized responses. It does not replace your care team, but it can help guide you between visits.

What Emmie can help with today

Find information in MyChart

Emmie lets you search your MyChart in one place. You can quickly find:

  • Test results
  • Visit notes
  • Past appointments
  • Messages from your care team
  • Understand imaging results from X-rays, CT scans, MRIs

This makes it easier to know where to look and what to do next.

Personalized questions and answers

You can ask Ask Emmie questions about your care, and it will use information from your medical record to share clear, relevant answers. This includes details from provider notes when available.

Scheduling an appointment

If you've opted in to receiving text messages from us, Emmie can help you schedule your next appointment.

When you get  a message from us about needing to schedule a visit, Emmie can offer days and times for you to pick from — all without having to leave the messaging app on your phone.

And if you need to reschedule an appointment, Emmie can help with that too. When you receive your confirmation message, just reply that you need to choose a different date and Emmie will guide you to find an available time slot.

If you aren't already receiving text messages from us, send START to 90951.
