Hospitalists elevate your inpatient stay
Not all Inpatient Care is the same. At Reid Health, certain patient who are admitted are taken care of by our dedicated team of hospitalists and pediatric hospitalists. Other patients who are entering the hospital for a specific treatment will see their specialty provider.
Our specially trained providers know the ins-and-outs of our system and manage every aspect of your inpatient stay, including:
- Admitting you as an inpatient after a referral or an Emergency Room visit.
- Scheduling any diagnostic tests such as imaging or lab work.
- Serving as a liaison with your primary care provider or referring specialist.
- Arranging your discharge from our care, including working with your case manager on follow-up care instructions.
- Ensuring your treatment plan continues seamlessly as you transition from inpatient care back to the real world.
