Pediatric Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Our occupational therapists guide
children to reach their maximum potential and independence in all areas.
Physical Therapy
Pediatric physical therapists specialize in the
evaluation and treatment of developmental, neurological, and genetic conditions
through the span of a child's life.
Speech-Language Pathology
Speech-language
pathologists (SLPs) are able to provide assessment of and treatment of speech,
language, social, fluency, voice, swallowing, and cognitive-communication
deficits in children, adolescents, and adults.
Feeding and Swallowing Program
Feeding is the process of bringing
food from the plate to the mouth, eating refers to the ability to
effectively break down food using oral motor skills, and swallowing is the action of moving food/liquid
from the mouth to the esophagus (e.g. tube that carries food into the stomach)
in a safe and effective manner. It is possible for a child to have a deficit in
one or all areas.
Social Thinkers Group
In our Social Thinkers Groups, we foster team work and leadership above all else. Our facility allows the unique opportunity to match ages and interests with both a speech and occupational therapy perspective to best meet your child's needs.
CIMT Camp
Camp provides high-quality, intensive intervention of up to 40 hours of constraint induced movement therapy. A fun camp environment also increases the child's motivation through peer interactions, fun activities, and consistent encouragement and support. Children who participate in CIMT receive 1:1 attention from Reid Pediatric Occupational and Physical Therapists as well as quality time with peers.
Pediatric Intensive Neuro Functional Strengthening Program
Our TheraSuitTM INFS Program includes four weeks of
three-hour sessions, four days a week and is provided by physical and
occupational therapists that are specifically trained to use the TheraSuit
Method.
