Reid Health Athletic Training Clinic

The Reid Health Athletic Training Clinic provides expert care to help athletes and active-lifestyle individuals recover from injuries, prevent future problems, and stay at their best. Certified athletic trainers offer hands-on treatments and personalized rehab plans for injuries ranging from minor strains to post-surgery recovery.

What's athletic training?

Athletic training is specialized care from certified professionals who prevent, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal injuries. Athletic trainers develop individualized recovery plans, guide safe return to activity, and support overall performance.

This care benefits everyone, from student-athletes to weekend warriors, not just professional athletes.

Our athletic trainers are an essential part of the sports medicine team. They collaborate with physicians and physical therapists to provide seamless care.

Athletic trainers monitor progress, adjust treatment plans, and coordinate referrals to ensure each patient receives the right care at the right time.

Why work with a certified athletic trainer?

Certified athletic trainers (ATCs) bring professional expertise, clinical skills, and a deep understanding of injury prevention and recovery. Working with an ATC means:

  • Safe and effective treatment for acute and chronic injuries
  • Faster recovery through evidence-based techniques
  • Personalized plans for rehabilitation and performance improvement
  • Support in navigating additional care, referrals, or specialty services

Supporting athletes in schools and the community

We have athletic trainers assigned to local high schools (including Centerville, Connersville, Hagerstown, Lincoln, Northeastern, Richmond, Seton Catholic, Union City, and Winchester) and Indiana University East, providing expert care during practices, games, and athletic events. This partnership ensures athletes receive timely, high-quality care in both school and clinic settings. But you don’t have to be an athlete at one of those schools to take advantage of all our Athletic Training Clinic has to offer.

Thank you for supporting us!
