Who qualifies for financial assistance?
Not everyone is eligible, but many people qualify if they meet certain income and hardship criteria. Assistance could cover:
- Hospital services, labs, imaging, and inpatient care
- Emergency, outpatient, and surgical services
- Charity care for those with very low income
You might not be eligible for assistance if your services are elective, cosmetic, or occur outside our system.
If you need insurance, we can help you find coverage
If you don’t have insurance, our ClaimAid specialists can guide you through every step, from finding affordable coverage to completing applications and appeals. As certified navigators and application counselors, they can help determine if you qualify for programs such as:
- Healthy Indiana Plan (HIP): Learn more about HIP
- Medicaid for the aged and disabled
- Health insurance marketplace
- Hoosier Healthwise (Medicaid for low-income families, pregnant women, and children)
