2023 - 2024 Block Schedule

MS = Adult Medicine Services, PM = Practice Management, BH = Behavioral Health

Elective Options Include: Interventional Radiology, Cardiothoracic Surgery, Hematology/Oncology, Infectious Diseases, Spine Surgery, Vascular Surgery, Podiatry, Pain Management, Plastic Surgery, and any of the core services.

Sites:

  • Reid Health: 200+ bed regional health system offering inpatient and outpatient services including primary and specialty care for the community. Serves Wayne, Randolph, Union, Franklin, and Fayette counties in Indiana and Darke and Preble counties in Ohio.
  • Rosebud Village: Located at 2050 Chester Blvd. in Richmond. Offers short-term rehabilitation, memory care, long-term care, respite care, hospice, and outpatient therapy. Residents acquire their long-term care facility patients during this rotation and follow them throughout residency training (24-36-month experience).
  • Indiana Nephrology & Internal Medicine, P.C: Region's largest groups of physicians specializing in the care of patients with kidney disease. Common conditions treated include acute or chronic kidney disease, prevention of kidney stones, polycystic kidney disease, high blood pressure, dialysis (kidney failure), and electrolyte disorders.
  • University Dermatology: Offers care for hair, skin, and nails. They assist patients with skin conditions and use surgical and non-surgical techniques to correct unsightly issues such as wrinkles, leg veins, removal of birthmarks, and skin cancer treatment.
