Overview of Personal Time Off (PTO) and Insurance:

  • Paid Time Off (PTO) - 20 days per year
  • 5 days for conference that do not impact PTO

Additional compensation includes:

  • 403b Matching details
    • Employer Matching Contributions: Employer will match 50% of the first 4% of pay deferred
    • Employer Non-Elective Contributions: Employees with 1-5 years of service: 2% of compensation
    • Employees with 5+ years of service: 2.3% of compensation
      (Discretionary)
  • Adoption Assistance: Reid reimburses up to $8,000 per child for approved adoption expenses for benefits eligible employees.
  • Café at Twelve Hundred: All meals are free at the Cafe Twelve Hundred for our residency doctors.
  • Credit Union: Reid employees have membership eligibility for the Health Care Professionals Federal Credit Union.
  • Fertility Services Discount: Services provided through Community Health Network's Assisted Fertility Services are discounted for Reid employees.

  • Moving Expenses: Reid Health will cover up to $800 in moving expenses for residents needing to relocate.

    This is not a discount program. Rather, it provides an affordable alternative for those who don't have cash on hand and would otherwise need to use a high-interest credit card. All purchases are paid through interest-free payroll deductions over 12 months.

  • Reid Gift Cards: A Reid gift card can be used on any purchase including payment on a patient account; they make a great gift for co-workers.
  • Reid Payroll Deduction: If you or your qualified dependents have health services provided at Reid, you may be able to pay your balance through regular, biweekly payroll deductions. If you request to pay your balance through payroll deduction, your expenses will also be evaluated for financial assistance opportunities.

  • DASCO-Reid Uniform Store: Payroll deduction is available for uniform purchases at the DASCO-Reid Uniform Store located at 2003 Chester Blvd, Richmond. Place your order online using payroll deduct plus in-store pick up and receive 20 percent off.
  • Dry Cleaning Drop off and Pick Up: Employees may save a trip by taking advantage of our convenient drop off and pick up service located in Environmental Services on the lower level of the inpatient tower.
  • Employee Buy/Sell Board: Employees can post items they are looking for or things they wish to get sell.
  • Espresso Bar: Located in the main concourse near Lingle Grand Staircase, the Espresso Bar, proudly brews Starbucks coffee, and serves a variety of coffee, teas, cold drinks, and delicious baked goods.
  • Flu Vaccinations: Employees, spouses and dependents living in the household are offered the flu vaccination annually at no cost.
  • Ginkgo Boutique: Stamps, flowers, balloons, Reid gift cards, candy and massage certificates are just a few examples of items available in the Ginkgo Boutique. Convenient payroll deduction is available.
  • On-site child care - KinderCare: Reid Health offers on-site child care through KinderCare. KinderCare provides care for families with children 6 weeks to school aged.
  • Pharmacy: Employees receive a discount on over the counter items as well as prescription medications when purchased through Reid's Pharmacy. Convenient payroll deduction is available.
  • Reid Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery: Several times a year, Reid Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery offers exclusive Reid employee-only discounts that are above and beyond what is offered to the general public. These are communicated via all user email.
