F.R.E.S.H. Support Group
The F.R.E.S.H. Program at Reid Health provides confidential mental health support for first responders, including police, firefighters, EMTs, and dispatchers, through support groups and individualized care.
Confidential mental health support for first responders
First responders face extraordinary stress in the line of duty, often while putting others first. The First Responder Emergency Services Help (F.R.E.S.H.) Program at Reid Health was created to provide a safe, confidential space where first responders can receive the mental health support they deserve.
When the community needs help, first responders answer the call. F.R.E.S.H. is here to support them.
Who is F.R.E.S.H. for?
The F.R.E.S.H. Program serves individuals working in emergency services, including:
- Police officers
- EMTs and paramedics
- Firefighters
- Dispatchers
A safe, confidential space
We understand the importance of confidentiality. The F.R.E.S.H. Program is built on trust, discretion, and respect, allowing first responders to seek help without fear of judgment or professional impact.

You're not alone
Strength doesn’t mean carrying everything by yourself. Whether you’re navigating a recent experience or the cumulative weight of the job, support is available.
If you or someone you know could benefit from the F.R.E.S.H. Program, Reid Health is here to help—because those who care for our community deserve care, too.
