- Endometrial ablation: Targeting heat or cold to destroy the lining of the uterus (the endometrium) to treat heavy bleeding
- Hysterectomy: Surgical removal of the uterus; could also involve removing the fallopian tubes and ovaries
- Laparoscopy: A minimally invasive abdominal surgery used to treat endometriosis and ovarian cysts
- Laparotomy: A more significant abdominal surgery used as a last resort to help women with severe endometriosis and cysts
- Myomectomy: Removal of uterine fibroids that might preserve fertility for some women
- Ovarian cystectomy: Surgical removal of ovarian cysts
