Recovery resources

If you have surgery or other treatment for cardiovascular disease, we aim for you to return home as soon as possible. These resources help you get there safely.

  • Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation: You’ll learn exercises, diet tips and other lifestyle advice for keeping your heart healthy after a heart attack or cardiac procedure or to help you manage cardiovascular disease.
  • Home medical equipment: These tools help you remain independent and safe at home. Options range from walkers and shower chairs to absorbent underpants and compression garments.
  • Palliative care: This service helps minimize your symptoms and shorten the amount of time you’re hospitalized. Support team members also care for your spiritual and emotional needs, coordinate care with your providers, and help with advanced care planning, if requested.

Financial resources

These resources can help you manage costs associated with your care. We can help you understand your insurance coverage and find help paying bills.

  • Billing and insurance: A billing expert can explain your bill and answer questions about insurance coverage.
  • Financial assistance: A caring expert can help you set up a custom payment plan and direct you to financial assistance options.
  • Price estimates: Before coming in for cardiovascular care, you can get an estimated cost with our online tool. Your custom estimate depends on the services you need and your insurance coverage.
